Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)

Ensure your critical systems stay online when it matters most

Automatic Transfer Switch Rentals

When power fails, every second counts. Automatic Transfer Switches ensure your critical systems stay online by switching seamlessly between utility and generator power. At Ring Power, we offer rental ATS units designed for temporary setups, emergency backup, and jobsite continuity—so you can stay powered when it matters most.

How ATS Works:
An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) monitors your utility power and controls the safe transfer between your main electrical service and your generator.

Normal Operation
Utility power is active. The ATS keeps the load connected to the grid.

Power Outage Detected
The ATS senses the loss of utility power in seconds.

Generator Starts
The ATS signals your generator to start and warm up.

Transfer to Generator
Once the generator is ready, the ATS safely transfers the load from utility to generator power.

Power Restored
When utility power is stable again, the ATS switches the load back to utility and shuts down the generator.

Result: Seamless power continuity—without anyone flipping a switch.
